Do you want to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing English, and make new friends with others who want to do the same? If your answer is yes, then this class is for you.  Join instructor Linda Stephenson for a  90 minute weekly class for English language learners.  This is the beginner class. Please do not register for the advanced class if you register for this class.

Linda Stephenson has many years of experience as a language teacher. She has taught at the elementary, middle, high school and college levels, and now, in public library programs. She has a Master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages. She also has a degree in school counseling, and a broad background in the history of art. In addition to ESOL, she teaches Spanish. She is looking forward to meeting everyone at the Tuckahoe Public Library who wants to improve their English language skills, and have a good time doing it!
