Do you want to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing English, and make new friends with others who want to do the same? If your answer is yes, then this group is for you.  Join instructor Linda Stephenson for a 45-minute weekly discussion group for advanced English language learners. We will hold book clubs, projects and presentations that allow you to explore your developing mastery of English!

Linda Stephenson has many years of experience as a language teacher. She has taught at the elementary, middle, high school and college levels, and now, in public library programs. She has a Master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages. She also has a degree in school counseling, and a broad background in the history of art. In addition to ESOL, she teaches Spanish. She is looking forward to meeting everyone at the Tuckahoe Public Library who wants to improve their English language skills, and have a good time doing it!
