Talking AI with Jake Adler In-Person

“Artificial intelligence” tools are constantly growing more numerous and more sophisticated, making it difficult for interested users to keep abreast of their development. The conversation has advanced from the question “what is it,” and now encompasses a broader query: “how do I even learn about it?” In response, educators, technologists, and other “AI”-centric parties have devised new tools and methodologies for addressing “AI literacy,” including determining the suitability of each tool for a given task, how to properly formulate prompts, and the ethical ramifications of “AI” usage. This presentation will highlight some of these learning tools for those interested in improving their “AI literacy,” from casual to professional usage. It will provide a broader understanding of the diversity of approaches to learning about “artificial intelligence” and its seemingly endless applications (and peculiarities).
