Introduction to Calligraphy with Nancy Favorito In-Person

 Calligraphy is the art of beautiful handwriting.  This afternoon session focus on the pointed pen.   Invented in the early 1800’s, the pointed pen is a versatile tool which can be used to create beautiful letters and illustrations.   We will practice using this tool with ink as we learn basic Copperplate calligraphy letterforms.  Materials will be supplied. 

Nancy Favorito is a freelance calligrapher located in Yonkers, New York.  She specializes in pointed pen and social calligraphy.  She has been teaching calligraphy for ten years and enjoys sharing the art with her students.
