New Canaan Nature Center: Endangered Species, How you can help! In-Person
A Program for Ages 11 - 17
Students will explore the amazing diversity in the animal and plant kingdoms and examine what's needed to survive. From there, we'll learn what the terms threatened, endangered, and extinct really mean for animals and plants, and what factors contribute to population decline. A discussion including real life success stories ties together the lessons of the day and shows students how they can play a positive role in helping endangered species.
